World-famous Diavolo Dance Company is putting on a masterclass for local dancers. On Thursday, July 29 dancers from Diavolo share their expertise with dancers at the intermediate to advanced levels at the Fascinating Rhythm School of Performing Arts located at 9736 South Virginia Street in Reno. The class is $10 per dancer or FREE with proof of a ticket purchase to the July 30 Diavolo performance. Registration is required and can be made by calling Artown at 775-322-1538.

Artown wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the thousands of visitors to Reno each July that experience the festival as well as the local partnerships that help us educate those visitors on our events. The City of Reno has been selected as the only recipient of the prestigious 2010 Dorothy Mullen Arts and Humanities Award (Class II), for the success of Artown, the community-wide July arts festival. Awarded by the National Recreation & Park Association (NRPA), the Dorothy Mullen Arts and Humanities program honors the most innovative and effective arts and humanities programs across the nation.
